Privacy
A small information website, with no visitor accounts, contact forms or checkout.
Who runs this website
This website is operated by the Ashbound SMP community team. The server owner is known in the community as rip4darkness. For questions about this notice or your information, contact the team through a Discord support ticket.
This notice covers this website. It does not describe information generated when you play on the Minecraft server or use Discord, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube.
Information handled by the website
The website provides server information, rules and links. It does not offer visitor accounts, forms, uploads, comments, newsletters or purchases. Ashbound has not added advertising or visitor analytics trackers, and the website does not maintain a database of visitor profiles or submissions.
Images, icons and fonts used by the website, including the Socials page’s profile cards, are served with the site. The cards are links, not live social-media feeds. Browsing them does not load social-media embeds, remote profile images or social tracking scripts.
Hosting and technical information
The website is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites service. Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, requested pages and request times to deliver, maintain and protect the website.
OpenAI’s Sites Data Processing Addendum describes its processing of hosted personal data on a site operator’s behalf. OpenAI’s own service-related processing is explained in its Privacy Policy.
Cookies and browser storage
Ashbound has not added tracking cookies or browser storage for advertising or analytics. The hosting platform may use its own cookies or similar technologies for service operation and security. See OpenAI’s Cookie Policy for its practices and available controls.
External links and support
Discord, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube links take you to separate services with their own privacy practices. Once you follow a link, that platform may process technical information and use cookies or account information under its own policies. Social links open in a new tab and are set not to send the referring page address. Sending the team a message or ticket through Discord shares the information you choose to include there, such as your Discord identity and message. Do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents in a support ticket.
Read the Discord Privacy Policy, TikTok Privacy Policy, Instagram Privacy Policy or Google Privacy Policy (YouTube) before using those services.
Retention and your requests
The website does not maintain a separate visitor-profile or submission database. Hosting-related retention and deletion are governed by the applicable hosting arrangements; this notice does not promise a specific deletion period for provider-held logs.
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain uses. Contact the Ashbound team through a support ticket with your request. We will address information under our control and seek assistance from the hosting provider where needed. Please identify the information or interaction concerned without sending unnecessary personal details.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the website’s features or information-handling practices change. A future shop, account system, form or analytics service would require an updated notice describing how it works.
